COâ‚‚ & nitrogen
Fizz gets used up, whether it’s CO₂ for soda and beer or nitrogen for a nitro pour. Here clean means beverage-grade. Each option is priced per glass or per pint, so you can compare a cylinder swap with a big tank.
What clean means here: Beverage-grade gas
Beverage-grade CO₂ is at least 99.9% pure, with limits on oil, sulfur and benzene (the ISBT guideline); industrial grade isn’t held to them. Buy a tank sold for beverage use and ask the filler for beverage-grade gas. “Paintball” CO₂ usually comes from the same supply, but the tank’s history isn’t guaranteed.
